This registered non-profit society meets once a month to plan activities and fundraisers in support of the local highland dancers. Expensive items such as jig shoes, swords etc are provided for the use of the dancers, as well as assistance with travel to distant competitions. The Association members provide a wealth of information and resources for the new dance parent. The PAHDA helps by sponsoring the annual Robbie Burns Supper at the Italian Centre, and recital as well as fun events such as "Pipes & Pizza" night, the wind-up barb-b-que and Open Highland dance competition. All Highland dancers (with exception of adult class) are REQUIRED to be members and pay the annual fee of $15 per family. This is due and payable at the time of registration, with a separate cheque to P.A.H.D.A.
