Classes are offered in classical ballet for children age 5 & up based on the internationally recognized Cecchetti syllabus; Highland for 5 years & up, and Creative Movement for preschoolers age 3 & 4. A limited number of Adult Ballet classes are also offered. Children are offered the opportunities and are encouraged to enter examinations conducted by Cecchetti Canada for ballet, and the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance for highland. Dancers from the school have gone on to post-graduate professional training, have excelled in competitions on the Island, B.C., Canada and internationally; and every child performs in the year end recital as well as many other community functions.
